Xula is a young, pure DDR female of our own breeding produced here at Schraderhaus K9.  We are pleased to now be able to incorporate her lines into our breeding program, and to utilize one of our favorite lineages from the strong DDR Lines descending from our DDR Stud dog,  V Lux vom Kameruner Eck, SCH3, KKL1 Life Xula is an exhuberant girl with a friendly nature, and will be an excellent choice for producing pups which will be suitable for SAR,  Family protection, Schutzhund,  and therapy dogs.

From the Dam Line: Imported from Germany, Xula's dam Ester is a 100% DDR female with excellent DDR head and dark pigment that is known to the DDR Dogs.  A large and very well proportioned female with  correct "V" Rated working structure, she has excellent substance of stature with substantial bone and lovely conformation.  Her strong yet feminine expression, character and head type is superb and is typical of what we like to see from the great DDR dogs, particularly in the females. 
Ester is watchful of her surroundings and alerts boldly to strangers entering the premises.  She is a confident, agreeable female, and her bite work is fast, full, and hard.  A proven mother, she has produced one litter of 10 pups before arriving to our kennel.  Ester's coat color is a rich, dark black sable with excellent  pigmentation. With an outgoing and free temperament, she is a strong female with a sure and courageous nature. 
Ester demonstrates very good tracking ability and normal protection skills for a good DDR working female.  A kind, nuturing mother, she takes excellent care of her babies, which we believe to be a very important aspect in what the pups turn out to be as adults.

From the Sire Line: Xula's sire, V Lux vom Kameruner Eck, SCH3, KKL1, is one of our most favorite dogs we've had the pleasure to own and interact with here at Schraderhaus K9..An absolutely impressive, heavily boned, very dark black sable male with masculine and strong head typical of the East German / DDR Dogs. 100% East German Pedigree. In bite work his grips are always full and hard, his courage is strong and sure showing solid nerve in all situations. Maximum drives for the ball is his inspiration for crisp performance in obedience. 
Lux has sired many litters for our kennel. His pups always possess his spirit of kindness with their people, yet have his same drive for the ball and excellent deep noses for tracking along with sure and stable temperaments. Deep pigment coloration of coats has been outstanding in his pups, as well as the gorgeous head type that he passes along into his offspring. We anticipate many more excellent litters for our kennel from this outstanding male.

Lux's Sire,  Tino vom Felsenschloss ,  has consistently been a top producer in Germany for a combination of outstanding structure and temperament.  In addition to the excellent bloodlines Lux inherits from his sire line, he inherits the incredible and well known protection and tracking abilities from his maternal grandsire,  the great DDR sire, Lord vom Gleisdreieck.   View 1995 Lord Video
Lux's Maternal Grandsire "Lord" was a top producing male who was renowned for  imparting excellent working drives into his offspring,  and was one of the finest producers of sound hips (producing good-excellent hips with around 98.5% success rate).    Lord got his SchH1 title with a perfect score of 300 points.  Out of his first 19 trials, he scored 15 perfect 100's in tracking.  His lowest tracking score was 97!   **DDR Lines to Jeff vom Flamings-Sand, Blacky vom Gleisdreieck, and Ingo von Rudingen (Ingo has been  credited for producing some of the strongest structural health for the working German Shepherd gene pool, vastly improving upon pigmentation and working abilities. )

~~~~~~~~~ Xula's first litter for Schraderhaus K9 will be of a Pure DDR Pedigree.  We anticipate large bone and gorgeous heads with rich pigment of coat.  These pups will be highly trainable with good noses,  outgoing temperaments, and will be suitable for IPO sport, PD work, Therapy and service / SAR prospects.   ~~~~~~~~~
